I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with the Texas Department of State Health and the owner of Confidential Counseling Services, Inc. 

I graduated from The University of Houston.

With more than 20 years of experience in treating people seeking change, my expertise is to develop individualized recovery plans for those wishing to free themselves of self-defeating and self-sabotaging behavioral patterns. 

I excel in family issues, codependency, domestic violence, and all substance and behavioral addictions.

I currently also work with The Council on Alcohol and Drugs Houston and manage the Drug Free Youth program for Harris County Juvenile Probation at the Harris County Juvenile Justice Center.

I have worked with SAMHSA and other federal agencies using evidence-based tools to enhance program effectiveness and developing programs that delivered 90% success rate for community reintegration and fully functioning individuals at 12-month follow-ups.

I have been especially blessed with the ability to engage and work with resistant teens and adults and to get to the heart of personal and family problems quickly.  

I am a native of Belgium, fluent in French, Flemish, Spanish, and American Sign Language.

I am a published author of multiple publications and curricula including SAMHSA’s Take Five Program: An Early Intervention Model for Youth in the Juvenile Justice System and Odyssey House Texas’s The Parent’s Brief Guide to Teenage Drug Use.
