What I do: I provide private and confidential counseling for individuals who wish to make changes in their lives. I work with common issues such as relationship problems, anger problems, mood swings, anxiety, depression, stress, weight management, etc.
I work with individuals who have been affected by an addiction and want to turn their lives around. I work with their families and friends that want to heal.
Addictions I address include: Alcohol, Drugs, Pills, Food, Love, Flirting, Sex, Internet, Gaming, Texting, Gambling, Work, Sensation-Seeking, Shopping, Debting/Spending, Suffering, Self-Injury, Hoarding, Religion, etc.
I work closely with Co-Dependency.
I am known to work well with adolescents. I find solutions for parents who have come to their "wits end".
Sometimes people come to me because they just need a private and safe place to talk.
The goal of therapy is to stop the behaviors that have had devastating effects on you and those around you and to create more of what you do want in your life; healthy relationships, meaningful time with family and friends, increased productivity at work or at school, feeling comfortable in your own skin, and sustained peace of mind.
My approach is a Relapse Prevention Approach.
